How to create a conference?

Note: Conference feature is only supported on Linkus Mobile Client.
  1. At the bottom of the screen, tap Me > Conference.
  2. At the top right corner, tap  to create a conference.
  3. In the Name field, set a name for the new conference.
  4. Invite conference members.
    Note: Up to 8 contacts can be invited to the conference.
    1. Tap  to add conference members.
    2. Select the checkboxes of the contacts who you want to invite to the conference.
    3. On the pop-up window, select the number that will receive the conference invitation. If you select an external number, you can long press  to decide the prefix which will be added in front of the phone number before calling out.
    4. Click OK to confirm.
    5. To delete contacts from the conference, tap , then tap  at the top right corner of contact avatar, and tap  to exit from deletion.

  5. Tap START CONFERENCE to start the conference immediately.After you end the conference, the conference will be saved in the Conference list.

 

How to add/delete a conference member?

During a conference, the conference administrator can invite a new member or delete a member.

Add a conference member

  1. Tap  to add a conference member.
  2. Select the checkbox of the contact who you want to invite to the conference.
  3. On the pop-up window, select the number that will receive the conference invitation. If you select an external number, you can long press  to decide the prefix which will be added in front of the phone number before calling out.
  4. Click OK to confirm.

    The desired member’s phone will ring. After the invited member answers the call, the member will join the conference.

Delete a conference member

  1. Tap the avatar of the desired conference member.
  2. Tap Delete.

During a conference

When a conference is established, the conference host can manage the conference.

Conference Member Status

  • : The member answers the conference call.
  • : The member’s phone is ringing.

  • : The member doesn’t answer the conference call or the member loses the connection.

 

How to mute/unmute a conference member?

All the conference members can mute or unmute themselves by tapping Mute/Unmute icon.

The conference host can mute or unmute a conference member as follows.

Mute a conference member

  1. Tap the avatar of the desired conference member.

    Other conference members will not hear the muted member’s voice.

  2. Tap Mute.

Unmute a conference member

  1. Tap the avatar of the desired conference member.
  2. Tap Unmute.

How to mute/unmute all conference members?

The conference host can mute or unmute all the conference members.

Mute all conference members

  1. The conference host taps his/her own avatar.
  2. Tap Mute All.

Unmute all conference members

  1. The conference host taps his/her own avatar.
  2. Tap Unmute All.

 

How to re-invite a conference member?

The conference host can re-invite a contact if the contact didn’t answer the conference call or if the contact lost connection.

  1. Long tap the contact’s avatar.
  2. Tap Call Again.

How to rejoin a conference?

During a conference, if you lose connection to an ongoing conference, you can rejoin the conference.

Generally, you may lose connection if there is a problem of your mobile network. When the network comes back, you can see a note on Linkus Mobile Client.

Solution: Tap the note to rejoin the conference.
